Oscar is a Day-45 of his hunger strike and is going to continue for the following three reasons:

1. Lt Sieja lowered the temperature of Oscars cell and refused to give Oscar a blanket or extra clothes.

2. Three doctors came in on Friday and two threatened to force feed ensure even though Oscar was willing to drink.  He told them that would constitute a tort and a crime, and he would bring charges and a civil suit.  After a heated argument they backed off.

3. They gave him a blood test and it showed a sodium deficiency.  They had confiscated his salt packets at the start of the hunger strike.  His salt shaker is locked up on property.  The doctor refuses to proscribe any salt suppliments.  These tactics are inhumane, illegal and medically reckless.
